1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using the Docac Academy website, platform, and services (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Services.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Docac Academy regarding your use of the Services.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a binding contract to use our Services. By using the Services, you represent and warrant that you meet these eligibility requirements.
3. Account Registration
To access certain features of the Services, you may need to create an account. When you register, you agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information.
- Maintain and promptly update your account information.
- Keep your password secure and confidential.
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
- Be responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
4. Purchases and Payments
All purchases made through our platform are processed securely by our third-party payment processors. By making a purchase, you agree to:
- Provide current, complete, and accurate billing information.
- Pay all charges incurred by you or on your account at the prices in effect when such charges are incurred.
- Pay all applicable taxes and fees.
Refund Policy: Digital products and course access are generally non-refundable once delivered. Refund requests for mentorship programs and bootcamps are evaluated on a case-by-case basis within 14 days of purchase, provided no more than 20% of the program has been consumed.
5. Intellectual Property
All content provided through the Services, including but not limited to courses, videos, text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of Docac Academy or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
Upon purchase, you are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the content for your personal, non-commercial educational purposes. You may not:
- Reproduce, distribute, publicly display, or create derivative works from our content.
- Share your account credentials or allow others to access purchased content.
- Resell, sublicense, or otherwise commercialize any content from the Services.
- Remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices.
6. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use the Services for any illegal purpose or in violation of any laws.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Services.
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Services.
- Harass, abuse, or harm another person through the Services.
- Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or other malicious code.
- Collect or harvest any personally identifiable information from other users.
7. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Services at any time, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms.
Upon termination, your right to use the Services will immediately cease. All provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. Docac Academy does not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free, or that any content is accurate, reliable, or complete.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Docac Academy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or relating to your access to or use of the Services, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
10. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be filed only in the state or federal courts located in Texas.
11. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion. By continuing to access or use our Services after any revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
