About the Academy

Built by operators.
For operators.

Docac Academy exists to professionalize a fragmented industry. Residential care - assisted living, veteran group homes, disability homes - is one of the most consequential businesses a person can build. The standard of education available to its operators has not, until now, matched that consequence.

We teach the full operating discipline: licensure, staffing architecture, clinical protocols, financial modeling, and the day-to-day decisions that decide whether a facility serves its residents with dignity or merely warehouses them.

Our curriculum is structured as an executive program, not a video library. Mentorship is reserved for operators ready to commit to the work.

Operators who have lived the work.

The Academy is led by practitioners with decades inside the homes, clinics, and balance sheets they teach about.

Austin Conner, R.Ph.

Registered Pharmacist · Real Estate Operator · Founder, CONSO Inc.

Austin Conner has spent more than four decades at the intersection of healthcare, faith, and service. A Registered Pharmacist and graduate of Xavier University of Louisiana, College of Pharmacy (Class of 1984), he is also an ordained minister and a proud veteran of the United States Air Force - a combination that defines how he builds, leads, and cares.

In 1995 he founded Conner Enterprises, launching a long arc of real estate investment and community-anchored business. Three years later he opened his first assisted living facility in New Orleans, answering what he saw as a critical national gap: compassionate, dignified care for aging and vulnerable populations who had been quietly forgotten.

In 2021 he acquired The Mayflower Assisted Living Facility, a 24-bed, AHCA-licensed home set on 1.26 acres in High Springs, Florida. The Mayflower now serves as CONSO's flagship - a working model of the standard Austin teaches: residents are not housed, they are held in community, purpose, and love.

"We are not in the business of warehousing people. We are in the business of restoring dignity - one resident, one home, one operator at a time."
