The man behind the bootcamp.

Austin “Doc AC” Conner
Founder, Doc Ac AcademyUS Army VeteranOwner, Mayflower Community Gardens
Doc AC founded Mayflower Community Gardens in 1999 with a vision to create a home-like care environment that honors dignity, independence, and community. As a U.S. Army veteran, Doc brings firsthand understanding of the unique needs of veterans and a deep commitment to service.
Mayflower Community Gardens is proudly owned and operated by Doc AC and his wife Stepheny — a veteran family with deep roots in service and care. With 41 years of dedicated military service, Doc AC retired as a pharmacist, bringing both medical expertise and the values of honor, duty, and compassion to everything he teaches.
For 25 years, the Conner family has served veterans, disabled adults, and seniors with the same level of dedication and respect that Doc AC brought to his military service. This bootcamp is his direct transfer of that playbook to the next generation of operators.

“I run this bootcamp because the operators our communities need can't be built from a video library. They're built shoulder-to-shoulder, on the floor, in a real facility.”
